Breve recommends one of its new products – an innovative fan control system. The Regisoft system is based on the MODBUS protocol, AREX/A controllers and a PC application.
AREX electronic controllers allow stepless control of fans in ventilation systems by means of a 0-10VDC signal (AREX version), 0-20mA (AREX/I version) or the MODBUS protocol (AREX/A, with the option of controlling up to 247 controllers using the RegiSoft application on a PC).
Importantly, AREX controllers can operate in autonomous mode (in which case the controller maintains the set temperature) or in direct mode (information on the output voltage is sent directly by the user).
In addition, AREX stands out for:
- a wide range of fan selection options (5A, 7A and 10A);
- the ability to control a ventilation system based on up to 247 controllers using a computer (RegiSoft application), a tablet or a smartphone (via VPN);
- ease of use (the KickStart function ensures reliable and smooth starting);
- a high level of safety (auxiliary 230V AC output with a load capacity of up to 2A and an internal power supply circuit, 4kV isolation between the control input and the actuating circuit);

AREX/A fan speed controllers reveal the full extent of their capabilities, however, when they are controlled by means of the RegiSoft system.
The Regisoft system allows up to 247 controllers to be operated across large areas by means of a dedicated application on a PC or a tablet running Windows.
Intuitive operation, a modern design and a clear interface guarantee convenient working. Further advantages of the system are its ease of configuration, the ability to work offline and the storage of settings in a local database.
Communication between the application and the controllers to the RS-485 standard is based on just two wires, which on the one hand limits costs and connection time and on the other makes it easier to connect the controllers correctly over a maximum cable length of 1200 m – useful when controlling many controllers, for example within a production hall.
