Transformer designations

Every transformer manufactured by our company is marked with one or more symbols.

They may look somewhat cryptic and are not clear to everyone. That is why below we explain all the designations that may appear in transformer descriptions.

What else is worth knowing about the individual groups of transformers?

Safety isolating transformer

• Max secondary power 10kVA for single-phase units
• Max secondary power 16kVA for multi-phase units
• Max PRI 1000V, Max SEC 50V
• Max frequency 500Hz

Isolating transformer

• Max secondary power 25kVA for single-phase units
• Max secondary power 40kVA for multi-phase units
• Max PRI 1000V, Max SEC 500V
• Max frequency 500Hz

Control transformer

• Rated max thermal load capacity 1000VA
• Max PRI 1000V, Max SEC 1000V
• Max frequency 500Hz
• Method of designating power in control transformers
• Rated max thermal load capacity / permissible momentary load capacity [VA]

Autotransformer

• Max secondary power 20kVA for single-phase units
• Max secondary power 100kVA for multi-phase units
• Max core power 1kVA for single-phase units
• Max core power 5kVA for multi-phase units
• Max core power 40kVA for special units
• Max PRI 1000V, Max SEC 1000V
• Max frequency 500Hz

Separating transformer

• Max secondary power 1000VA for single-phase units
• Max secondary power 5000VA for multi-phase units
