TPI/TPU - Measuring transformers
Measuring transformers are current transformers and voltage transformers used in microprocessor-based measuring and protection systems. For current transformers, the rated current of the primary winding is specified, while for voltage transformers, the maximum voltage of the primary winding is defined. Resistor networks are connected to the secondary windings within the device, and the resulting voltage signals are supplied for further electronic processing. The values of the signals in the secondary winding depend on the primary signals and the resistor network (e.g. according to the diagram below).

Transformers are manufactured in open-type and resin-filled versions.
