Description:

Electronic, microcontroller-based thyristor ARES regulators are designed for stepless speed regulation in single-phase motor fan. The regulators are intended for ventilation and heating systems. ARES regulators are equipped with backlit switch and potentiometer for stepless speed regulation. The control is carried out using the phase method.

ARES/T has a potentiometer that sets the temperature that is then kept by regulator. Regulators are assembled according to IP54 protection degree. Internal DC power supply for control unit and set of optoisolators results in 4kV galvanic isolation which significantly improves safety.

ARES regulators have KickStart function that enables driving maximum voltage to the output for the first 10 seconds of device running. It allows the assured start of motor from off-state. Functionality of ARES regulators is further extended by the addition of 230V AC output protected by 2A fuse.

AREX regulator is microcontroller based, thyristor stepless speed regulator for fans with AC motor. The control is done automatically with 0-10VDC signal (AREX), 0-20mA signal (AREX/I) or MODBUS protocol (AREX/A, possibility of controlling up to 247 regulators by dedicated software – SCADA or BMS). The control is carried out using the phase method.

AREX regulators have KickStart function implemented which consist on driving maximum voltage to the output for first 10 seconds of device running . It allows for certain start of motor from off-state. Microcontroller based, thyristor electric heater power regulator. The control is done with 0-10V DC signal, 0-20mA signal (product for special order) or MODBUS RTU protocol. The control is carried out using the group method with zero-voltage switching. The regulation period is 1s.

By applying internal DC power supply for control unit and set of optoisolators, galvanic isolation at level of 4kV is achieved, what significant improves safety. Protection grade IP54.

The controllers functionality has been extended with the introduction of an air flow sensor input (S1, S2), which allows safe control of heaters in air ducts.
