Description:

Microprocessor, thyristor fan speed controllers for single-phase AC motors, using the phase method for control. They provide smooth control of fans using a potentiometer or a 0-10VDC signal. The built-in KickStart function applies full power supply voltage for the first 10 seconds, ensuring correct and safe startup. Designed for use in industrial environments, with the ability to set the minimum output voltage.

ZEC 4

Controller is designed to control the speed of ventilators equipped with electronically commutated motors (EC) or other devices controlled by 0-10Vdc signal.

Required power supply is 230VAC 50/60Hz. The output is a 0-10V signal, controlled by a knob on the front of the housing.

The voltage controller has an additional, unregulated AC output (max. 3A). “0” position turns off control output and additional unregulated AC output. Controller has a fuse T1,5A for overcurrent protection. Protection grade IP20 (flush mounting). Ambient temperature from -30°C to +55°C.

ARWD / A3RWD

ARWD is a single-phase autotransformer fan speed regulator whereas A3RWD is a three-phase autotransformer fan speed regulator. Both are applicable to voltage-controllable motors (230 V, 50/60 Hz) to control the rotational speed of fans and ventilation systems. Regulators are equipped with two indicators – the green one shows when the regulator is on while the red one shows when the TK contact is on. For better protection of the regulators, we suggest using overcurrent protection.

These controllers make it possible to select two optimal motor speeds and to switch these with a contact. Important energy savings and an increase of comfort can be achieved, for example by day and night control. Regulators are fitted with TK contacts for thermal motor protection and run/stop contacts (CC-closed/OC-open) for external or remote starting and stopping.

The transformers are made with Class II insulation and protection grade IP21 (A3RWD, ARWD 14) or IP54 (ARWD 1,5 – 10), maximum ambient temperature 40°C (ARWD) and 25°C (A3RWD), thermal class of insulation B (130°C). Manufactured in compliance with EN 61558-2-13.

ARWE is an autotransformer fan speed controller dedicated for single-phase AC motor in ventilation and heating systems.The controller provides a 5-step output voltage regulation due to 0-10V DC input signal. A PCB power-electronic module measures external signal and switches on a relay on particular autotransformers tap according to signals level.

ARWE is equipped with an iternal controll unit that prevents the device from switching on two relays in othe same time (anti-shortcircuit system).
